But when the games started I had hope after watching Pittsburgh’s opening touchdown drive to start the game. Their first since Moby Dick was a minnow. Talk about a false sense of security. Now, I don’t want to say that the special teams play on the blocked field goal that resulted in a touchdown that could have given the Steelers the lead going into the half would have changed the outcome of the game but come on ref’s! Even Gene Steratore, who is a rules analyst for CBS sports questioned that off sides call on Joe Haden that negated the Minkah Fitzpatrick touchdown. The Defense had their moments a TJ Watt sack early and fumble recovery late but it just wasn’t enough or as coach Tomlin likes to say not enough splash plays from either side of the ball. Of course the Steelers had a huge splash play that the zebra’s called back but I think I mentioned that already. No, it was Green bay who making bigger waves with their splash plays and highlights which you may have notice were in Aaron Rogers hair that the broadcast crew made sure to point out.
