…and talk about a comedy of errors and the punch line was to the gut following the Steelers 16 all tie with Detroit. Just when you thought Pittsburgh was in line claim the AFC North with a field goal they fumble not once but twice in overtime ending all hope for a victory. Granted the conditions sucked with the mix of rain and snow but you’re at home playing a team that hasn’t won a game all year. To think it shouldn’t have even gone to overtime but for some reason after 8 games the Steelers defense forgot how to tackle. It’s not a good sign when your punter has to make a touchdown saving tackle. After 8 games the Steelers offensive center forgot how to hike the ball. Talk about Deja Vu all over again. A Najee Harris touchdown taken off the board due to a penalty didn’t help. Nor did having to settle for a field goal after having the ball 1st and goal at the 5 but throwing the ball 3 straight times instead of handing off to Najee, at least once? You’re at the 5! It’s not like you had Big Ben as your starting quarterback and word is Covid might have him sidelined when the Steelers head for the bright lights of La for a game against the Chargers next Sunday night. Well, if yesterdays comedy of errors happens next week Pittsburgh will really be the not ready for prime time players.
