…got to give a shout out to a stranger who stopped to lend a helping hand after seeing me with my car jacked up on the side of the road due to a flat tire. Turns out he was a little late as I had already lowed the car back to the ground was putting the flat in my trunk when he showed up but thanked him for the thought and also for the man who decided it would be a good idea to put a flashlight on a smart phone since its was pitch dark at 3:00 in the morning. Not a good way to start the day but it’s these damn curbs here in western Pa. that keep jumping out in front of me. Just when I think I got it cleared…bam! Flat tire. Hey, it’s the second one too. The first one was about a year an a half ago and again while driving to work in the dead of night and while making a left hand turn. It’s like the front passenger tire and curb feel like its just the right time of night to make a connection. You would think that maybe I might I have a problem with depth perception but I’m blaming those curbs. There not normal. In fact their ten times bigger than your normal curb, squared off at the top and not round. The only good thing is the fact I do carry road hazard and unlike my last blow out the tires are a lot newer so the replacement fit right in. But the bad thing, those curbs are still out there.
